First Day of School

We had a great day today. The day started with music. The class earned a Bravo! card. Eight more and they will earn a party. We will go to music again on Friday.

We discussed classroom rules. Students wrote and illustrated their own rules. We also had a bead ceremony. Each student placed a bead on a string and shared a goal for this year. The string will hang from the board for the entire school year.

Students also began an "All About Me" poster.

Welcome Back!!!

It was nice to meet so many parents and students at Open House. I am excited about working with everyone. The first few days we will be getting to know each other and building our classroom community.
