Math- We are still covering graphs. We have discussed the vocabulary words pictograph, bar graph, tally, rows, columns, more, fewer, equal, addition, subtraction, Venn diagram, data, chart, table, symbol, and key. This week we will be taking the GMADE. When we get the data back from this test, we will know how to direct instruction better.
Reading- Last week we read, Dragon Gets BY: Shopping. This week we will be reading Julius.
Writing- We have been working on “All About Me” Posters. The posters will be used to write a book about each person in our class. The books will be on display in our classroom library. Writing the books will help us develop our ability to write complete sentences with correct punctuation.
