Math- We are continuing to work on fractions in math. We have learned that fractions are equal parts of a whole. This week we will be looking at real world problems and fractions. For example, we will look at what fraction of food people would receive. We have also looked at how some fractions are equal as well as comparing fractions.
Reading- Encourage students to read at least 20 minutes each night. Ask questions about the books that your child has read to increase comprehension. We are starting theme 5 this week. It is called Family Time.
Writing- We will be working on finishing up past writing pieces. Also we will be focusing on how to improve our writing.
