Math- Our focus will be subtracting three digit numbers. Students will review basic facts and regrouping. Many students are having problems with basic addition facts. Continue to use addition and subtraction flash cards.

Reading- Encourage students to read at least 20 minutes each night. Ask questions about the books that your child has read to increase comprehension. We are reviewing theme 5 this week. Continue to ask your child questions about the books that he/she is reading.

Writing- We are also going to begin writing our personal narratives. We will be creating a web using kidspiration to help us develop ideas.

Reminders
Report cards will go home on Wednesday, March 18. Please read, sign, and return the report cards.
Spring Break March 23- April 3 Please encourage your child to read over the break. Typically our DIBELS scores drop after a break. Read at least 20 minutes each day to keep increasing our words per minute.
