Christmas Party Information

Our Christmas Party will begin at 12:00 on December 18. If you wish to send a snack or refreshment, please let me know. We will be doing a gift exchange, a movie, and light refreshments (our lunch time is 11:15-11:40). Boys will need to bring a boy’s gift. Girls will need to bring a girl’s gift. All gifts need to be wrapped. We are asking that you send a $5 gift. Please have the gift here by Wednesday, December
16.

To celebrate and conclude our Polar Express week, we are asking that students wear appropriate pajamas to school on Friday.

Comprehension: Making Inferences; story structure; making predictions; timeline
Vocabulary: High Frequency Words; vocabulary words, phrases’ metaphor and similie
Fluency: Decodable Text; Leveled Readers

Math- We are reviewing addition and subtraction. Please work with students on basic addition and subtraction facts. You can do this with flash cards.
Reading- We are having a Polar Express Week.
Writing- We are working to finish up our short stories and letter writing.
Social Studies- We will be discussing wants and needs and supply and demand.
